Interior, Tate Modern Gallery, Bankside London SE1 9TG. The Tate Modern Gallery, housed in the former Bankside Power Station, is the world's most visited modern art gallery. Admission is free, except for special exhibitions (Miro was on while we were there, but we didn't want to fork out 30 quid).
The Monument - situated at the junction of Monument Street and Fish Street Hill in London commemorates the Great Fire of London in 1666. I'm a day late for the 345th anniversary of the start of the fire (2nd September, 1666). The tower is 61m high (the same distance from the site of the Monument and Pudding Lane, where the fire started).
